Reporting to the Validation Manager, you will join the validation team and work closely with technical project managers to ensure that products comply with Crosscall’s specifications as well as our clients’ technical requirements, both in France and internationally.
Main responsibilities:
- As part of product launches, you will execute test plans and work closely with R&D centers based in Asia to identify and qualify defects and verify fixes, in accordance with the schedule defined by the technical product managers.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of products throughout their lifecycle, in partnership with the after-sales service, the B2B department, and all relevant departments.
- You provide regular reports to the technical product manager on the progress of your testing and validation activities.
- You ensure the traceability and coverage of tests in accordance with technical specifications, using our internal project management and ticketing tool.
- You participate in the development and evolution of testing tools and methodologies, as well as the automation of test campaigns, in collaboration with the software vendor.
Qualifications:
Technical skills:
- In-depth knowledge of and strong interest in telecommunications standards, mobile phone technologies, the Android ecosystem, and connected devices.
- Proven experience in functional testing of digital devices, with a solid understanding of test plan development, execution, and bug reporting.
- Solid knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira/Redmine.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to translate client requirements/specifications into a test plan to be executed internally.
- Knowledge of Java and Python would be a plus.
