PTT Apps & Features
The CORE-P6 lets you choose between two Push-to-Talk applications: Fusion and AT&T EPTT.
When configuring the CORE-P6, you will be prompted to select your preferred PTT application: Fusion or AT&T EPTT.
Yes. From the CORE-P6 home page, go to Settings > Customization > Buttons. From there, you can configure the function of the PTT and Emergency buttons and choose between Fusion and AT&T EPTT.
The channel knob allows you to browse and change channels. Rotate the knob to move through the available channels.
The channel list displays all channels available to you. The currently open channel is clearly indicated on the screen.
Rotate the channel knob to browse through the available channels, then click on the desired channel to open it.
Make sure the desired channel is open, then press and hold the PTT button to talk.
While you are talking, the notification LED turns green and the screen displays a “You are talking” indicator. You can also rely on sound feedback.
Yes. In both Fusion and AT&T EPTT, you can communicate with other members of the currently open channel by pressing and holding the PTT button.
In the Fusion app, click on the open channel, press the left shortcut key to open the options menu, select Audio, and the speaker logo will change to indicate the new status.
In the AT&T EPTT app, click on the open channel, then hold down the 5 key. A screen appears indicating that the loudspeaker is deactivated, and the speaker logo changes to indicate its new status.
Yes. From any channel, press the left shortcut key to open the video call interface.
The video call interface displays the channel through which the video call is made, active fences, call duration, and your profile as the video call sender. Your name will appear, and the camera used will be that of your CORE-P6.
During a video call, you can hang up, minimize the video screen, pause video, mute the call, switch cameras, turn the loudspeaker on or off, return to the main menu, and access video call settings. The rear camera is used by default when switching cameras.
Accessory ecosystem
The X-COMMAND is a Bluetooth accessory that can be paired with the CORE-P6 and used to activate the open channel or trigger an Emergency Call, depending on the button used.
In the Fusion app, go to Menu > Settings > Accessories > BLE Wireless Accessories, then activate Wireless Button. Press the three X-COMMAND buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to reset the device and put it in pairing mode. The X-COMMAND will appear as “X-CMD_xxx”. Select it from the list and choose Pair.
On the CORE-P6, go to Settings > Connectivity > Connected devices > Pair new device. Press the three X-COMMAND buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to reset the device and put it in pairing mode. The X-COMMAND will appear as “X_xxxx”. Select the accessory and tap Pair. Once paired, launch the AT&T EPTT app; the X-COMMAND will operate directly with AT&T EPTT.
If multiple X-COMMAND devices are detected, the specific name can be found on the back of the device.
Once paired, the X-COMMAND buttons function as follows: Programmable Button 1 activates the open channel, Programmable Button 2 does not perform any action, and Programmable Button 3 / SOS triggers an Emergency Call.
The X-COMM is a Bluetooth accessory that can be paired with the CORE-P6 and used for Push-to-Talk, emergency calling, and audio control depending on the application used.
Turn on the X-COMM by long pressing the Power button until you hear “X-COMM on”. Then press the Power button 8 times to reset the accessory and put it in pairing mode. You should hear “X-COMM on” followed by “pairing”, and the top lights will flash alternately red and green.
On the CORE-P6, go to Settings > Connectivity > Connected devices > Pair new device. The X-COMM will appear as“X_xxxx”. Select the accessory and tap Pair. Once successfully paired, a confirmation message is displayed.
If multiple X-COMM devices are detected, the specific name can be found on the back of the device, in the upper right corner.
Yes. After pairing the X-COMM in the CORE-P6 Bluetooth settings, open the Fusion app and go to Menu > Settings > Accessories > BLE Wireless Accessories. Activate Wireless Button, then select the X-COMM accessory, which appears as “X-COMM_xxx”.
Once paired with Fusion, Programmable Button 1 activates the open channel, Programmable Button 2 does not perform any action, and Programmable Button 3 / SOS triggers an Emergency Call.
Once paired, launch the AT&T EPTT app. The X-COMM will operate directly with AT&T EPTT using the central PTT button for Push-to-Talk, the top red button for SOS, and the Volume + / - buttons for audio control.
No. At this stage, the side PTT button is not applicable to AT&T EPTT.
