The X-CAM is a photo/video capture application developed by Crosscall. It is available on certain Crosscall products.
The STELLAR-X5/X5s, STELLAR-M6/M6E, CORE-M6, ACTION-X5, and TREKKER-X4.
A feature called "TouchLock" is available in the app.
To activate it, simply click on the water drop icon at the top right of the interface.
Once activated, use the phone's physical buttons to:
- Start / Stop recording
- Change mode
- Switch camera*
To deactivate it, simply click 3 times on the ON/OFF button.

The basic principle of HDR is to take several shots as quickly as possible, with varying exposure times. Then, an algorithm processes them to produce a single photo that uses the best exposed highlights and the best dark areas. The idea here is to capture the best of each image in terms of shadow and light areas.
Yes, you just need to go to the app Settings and set the recording to the SD card in the "storage" setting.*

The Hyperstab is a video stabilization feature unique to Crosscall that corrects the horizon level.
If the phone is tilted, the image will remain straight*

On the TREKKER-X4, simply go to Settings and click on the "Exposure" setting.
On the ACTION-X5, you have 2 options:
- Directly on the preview area by tapping once on the screen and then sliding up or down
- In the settings, just like on the TREKKER-X4
The X-CAM app does not include a filter.
To add one, you need to use a third-party app after capturing your photo.
The X-CAM app does not allow you to edit your photos.
You will need to use third-party apps like Google Photos, Snapseed, Lightroom, Instagram…
The physical buttons on your phone can help you use the X-CAM app.
The programmable button at the bottom right of your phone allows you to: Start / Stop recording
The volume down button allows you to: Change mode*

Simply go to the programmable button settings in your settings and choose "Camera" or "Application," then select the X-CAM.
Following the latest update N2074V.6.04.16.FR00, we are experiencing a bug with the X-CAM application on the Crosscall STELLAR-X5 and STELLAR-X5s.
Bug description: your X-CAM displays a black screen, and you are unable to take photos.
If your model is affected, here is the procedure to follow to resolve the bug:
- Press and hold the X-Cam application icon.
- Select "App info".
- Click on "Force stop".
- Then go to "Storage and cache".
- Press "Clear cache".
- Clear storage space
- Restart the phone.
- Launch the X-Cam application again.
Then validate all permissions:
- Press and hold the X-Cam application icon.
- Permissions
- Three small dots in the top right --> All permissions.
