For example, by making our CORE-T4 tablet more durable: we called on our community of testers to determine the ideal drop height for testing. And believe us, it’s high. Then, we sought the perfect balance between thickness (only 14mm), weight, and battery life to ensure drop test resistance from 1.5 meters, which corresponds to standing use.
A commitment we carry all the way into packaging design
The packaging is mostly made from eco-designed materials. Most of the plastic packaging has been removed, and the remaining packaging has been compacted to reduce its volume by 25%. By reducing the overall size of the stock and the product transportation processes, we also lower our carbon footprint and limit the environmental impact of our products. All these things we do less of are a plus for the planet.
Lasting longer also means repairing
Yes, we consider the repairability level of our devices as one of the keys to extending the use of our products and thus enhancing their durability.
To achieve this, our teams have worked on a design aimed at simplifying the disassembly of our devices by notably reducing the use of glue in favor of fastenings using ribbons or screws. This special attention has allowed us to achieve one of the best repairability ratings on the market.
