Crosscall, the French smartphone brand
CROSSCALL is a story of 100% French entrepreneurship born in 2009. Its founder, Cyril Vidal, drew inspiration from his personal experience and professional background to understand usage needs before addressing them by designing innovative products. This was a success because a French brand of smartphones finally met users' expectations. Moreover, professionals and athletes immediately identified with the brand's values.
In addition to offering products designed in France like CROSSCALL’s very first innovation, the SHARK, the brand stood out from the start with a local after-sales service provided by teams based in France.
Today, eager to meet new usage needs, CROSSCALL supports various audiences, both individuals and professionals. It has even become an expert for security and defense professions such as police officers, firefighters, military personnel… leveraging its knowledge of these sectors with demanding requirements.
While maintaining a 100% French capital, our Aix-en-Provence-based brand has established itself as a flagship of European technology. It was selected for the third time in four years to join the French Tech 120 program. Despite experiencing rapid growth, it has always evolved by promoting local roots, notably by concentrating its design center at its headquarters in Aix-en-Provence.
Phones with 100% French design
Thanks to constant listening, our French expertise is reflected in each of our products in response to the specific needs of customers close to us. This proximity allows us to develop relevant solutions, adapted to the real uses of the general public, businesses, or defense professions, and of course compliant with local regulations.
Hexagone is also the starting point for all our new models of smartphone, tablet, or accessory, designed, conceived, and styled at the Aix-en-Provence site. For this, the company has chosen to bring together all its R&D skills there to imagine the technologies of tomorrow on our territory.
Our latest products go even further, like the X-SCAN mobile scanning accessory, designed and also assembled in France.

After-sales service based in France
Our customer service is the daily example of the trust we want to maintain between our brand and its users. If needed, they can rely on the responsiveness of an after-sales service based in France. Far from the low-quality standards of outsourced call centers, our customer service teams, made up of experts and brand employees, know CROSSCALL products inside out. This is obviously a time saver and a source of peace of mind for our users.
French quality made in Aix-en-Provence
A true European hub for management, cohesion, and collective intelligence, our R&D is located at the brand’s headquarters in Aix-en-Provence. In 2020, we launched the X-LAB there with support from the government through the France Relance Plan. This internal prototyping and testing laboratory allows us to validate in France the quality of phones designed in France. We conduct more than 80 tests that challenge our mobiles, ensuring their compliance with regulations as well as with our standards, which go far beyond the norms.
At the same time, the product creation process has, since the beginning, been carried out with the help of users. We work closely with a panel of 4,587 French people with diverse profiles: our “community of innovators.” Preliminary surveys before design, followed by their feedback on our prototypes, allow us to respond precisely and realistically to multiple uses.
Phones Closely Connected to French and European Consumers
This new internal industrialization strength allows the French brand to go further and with even more freedom towards increasingly personalized solutions. That is why, beyond true expertise in sustainability, innovation, and technological mastery, CROSSCALL now stands out for its ability to offer "custom-made" solutions. Several of our products are created from A to Z based on specifications derived from customer needs and desired field uses. To date, none of our competitors offer such a "haute couture" service for their phones.
CROSSCALL is proud to equip many French companies and support them over time, from the preliminary project to After-Sales Service. Over the years, craftsmen, SMEs, and leading French industry players have trusted us to find solutions that are both high-performing and customized.
For the DALKIA Solution Froid group:
- Operating in demanding work environments, such as cold rooms and humid areas, CROSSCALL smartphones and tablets have met the brand’s specifications thanks to their durability, reliability, glove-friendly use, and ability to operate in isolated environments. Additionally, compatibility with business applications, a low breakage rate, the use of practical accessories like the X-CAR, and dedicated support have all helped meet these mobility needs.
For the agents of SNCF
- SNCF was looking for a partner to equip its 21,500 agents. The company could only be attracted by a French phone brand like CROSSCALL and its innovative and high-performance technology perfectly matching the established specifications: cutting-edge connectivity terminals, even at high speed, but also shockproof, compatible with 40 business applications, and equipped with a battery life far superior to other brands.
For the police officers and gendarmes
- Following the creation of a custom offer, CROSSCALL also equips the National Police and Gendarmerie with 200,000 terminals. Durability, long battery life, and secure connectivity with a high level of performance are essential criteria for these all-terrain professionals. Not to mention that our solutions meet the challenges of critical communication with the Push-To-Talk function and compatibility with Private Mobile Radio/Public Safety standards.
For small and large businesses
- Our brand brings real added value both technologically and economically to companies of all sizes, whether in the office or outdoors. By choosing durable mobiles and tablets with suitable accessories and compatible business applications, they primarily choose peace of mind.
Professionals in the healthcare, automotive, food industry, and renewable energy sectors have already relied on our expertise to equip themselves.
