As part of a call for tenders launched by the Ministry of the Interior, the National Gendarmerie and the National Police sought to modernize and improve their fleet of mobile terminals. The existing devices were basic and no longer met the evolving needs of law enforcement, particularly in terms of critical communication, network prioritization, and use of business applications. It was crucial to find a durable, high-performance solution suited for intensive field use.
Crosscall worked closely with the teams of the National Gendarmerie and National Police to design a secure solution, integrating a specific security layer developed by OSIIC. Deployment was smooth, with 40,000 smartphones delivered per month over six months, thanks to constant dialogue and mutual trust between the teams.
Law enforcement appreciates the Push-to-Talk feature of Crosscall devices, which allows them to communicate quickly and securely in the field, thereby improving coordination and responsiveness during operations.
