The main environmental impacts of our business are generated by our products themselves.Reducing their impact—from design to end of life—is therefore the most powerful lever for improving the overall impact of our business.

To achieve this, we design products thatare robust, durable, both in terms of hardware and software, andeasy to repair by a professional and to recycleat the end of their life. We involve our users in the design process so that ourproducts meet their real needs over time.

Finally, we considereco-design to be a process of continuous improvementwith new areas to explore, while measuring the effects of these choices on the impact of our products.

Eco-design: a continuous improvement approach

The successful incorporation of recycled materials into the STELLAR-X5 2024 served as a model for the next model, the STELLAR-M6, which incorporates23% recycled materialswhile maintaining Crosscall’s signaturestandards of durability and strength.

Other advances in eco-design demonstrate the principle of continuous improvement in our approach. For example,the selection of components that allowsfor an increased number of supported operating systems, with up to four system updates for the STELLAR-M6.

Systematization of Life Cycle Assessments

Since the results of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for the STELLAR-X5 model STELLAR-X5 2024 provideda clearer picture of the impact of our eco-design efforts, we decided to make it standard practice to conduct LCAs for all our new catalog products.

These results also enable ustoenrich our eco-design roadmapand prioritize our future areas of research.
