Téléphone robuste pour la montagne : l’indispensable allié des aventuriers Outdoor

Rugged Phone for the Mountains: The Essential Companion for Outdoor Adventurers

Why choose a rugged phone for the mountains? The mountains are an adventure terrain as fascinating as it is demanding. Between sudden weather changes, rough terrain, and isolation, every high-altitude excursion carries risks. A rugged phone for the mountains is not just an accessory, but a true safety tool. Whether you are an occasional hiker or an experienced explorer, nature gives no favors. It only takes one misstep, unpredictable weather, or a dead battery to turn a beautiful day into a real challenge. Good equipment makes all the difference, and among the essentials, a reliable all-terrain smartphone is crucial. Crosscall, a French outdoor smartphone brand, offers two models suited for adventurers: the STELLAR-X5, ideal for hiking and photography, and the STELLAR-M6, designed for explorers seeking durability.

On this occasion, Crosscall developed its first carbon footprint, allowing it to measure the real impact of the smartphone throughout its life cycle and to go further in its eco-design approach in the future. Crosscall also stood out for its gender equality index: the score of 84/100 highlights the French company's initiatives to ensure the representation of women in its leadership bodies and reduce salary gaps between women and men holding similar positions.  By joining the French Tech 120, Crosscall will benefit from close support from all relevant administrations to continue its development and its ambition to establish itself as a new leader in mobile telephony internationally.

Championnat du monde class40 crosscall sacré champion

Class40 Crosscall World Championship Crowned Champion

One year after its launch, the Class40 Crosscall won the World Championship in its category this weekend in La Rochelle. A title that validates the full potential of this prototype combining innovation and durability, as well as that of its skipper with an atypical profile. After his two freeride ski world titles, Aurélien Ducroz adds a new world title to his record, demonstrating once again his thirst for victory and his ability to lead ambitious projects. Aurélien Ducroz: "I have experienced two World Championship titles in skiing, this is the first in sailing, it’s extraordinary! We sailed well during the first three days of the championship with three great races always in the leading group. It was largely decided by maneuvers, and we were quite good at that. Of course, we are frustrated not to have done more, but now we can only be happy with the result! Racing as a crew reminded me of the Tour de France à la Voile that I did in Diam24 three years in a row… You regain reflexes even though it’s a bit physical on these boats, but it was very enjoyable. The collaboration with Vincent Riou was simply extraordinary. Sailing with someone who has so much experience is a real privilege and a true pleasure. Also, I thank him enormously as well as everyone else who was on board, David Sineau, Eric Levet, Thomas Audren, not forgetting my boat captain Jonathan Chodkiewiez with whom I am very happy to have shared this moment. I am super proud to bring this World Championship title to this great project that we have been building since last year with my partners from the Crosscall Sailing Team, Crosscall at the forefront, who was the first to trust me in the project of building our prototype." CLASS40 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PODIUM 1. CROSSCALL (166) – Aurélien DUCROZ 2. INTER INVEST (175) – Matthieu PERRAUT 3. REDMAN (161) – Antoine CARPENTIER UPCOMING RACES July 17: start of the Drheam Cup, solo race, in Cherbourg. November 6: start of the Route du Rhum destination Guadeloupe.

Photos, vidéos, contacts : transférez toutes vos données sur votre ordinateur

Photos, videos, contacts: transfer all your data to your computer

There are a few simple methods to transfer all your personal data from your old device to your new CROSSCALL smartphone (music, videos, photos, ringtones, downloads…). Follow the guide! VIA USB CABLE Certainly the simplest method. Connect your device to the computer via your USB cable, your X-DOCK station, or X-CABLE if your smartphone is equipped with X-LINK™ technology. Don’t forget to select the “Transfer files (MTP)” option from the list that appears. Transfer your data either to your computer or to your SD card and find them again by following these simple steps: Retrieve the contacts file (in .vcf format) previously saved, which should be located at the root of your phone. Back up the “DCIM”, “Pictures”, and “Video” folders for your photos, videos, and screenshots. If you own a TREKKER-X4, the access path will differ depending on whether you captured your videos with the Camera App or with the X-CAM App and your Action Cam. Here it is: DCIM>Camera, for photos and videos captured with the Camera App. DCIM > Xcamera > Video > EXPORTED VIDEOS, for videos exported from the X-CAM App on your TREKKER-X4. 3. Copy your “Download” folder which may contain downloaded and/or transferred files (always check). 4. Check the “media”, “Ringtones”, and “Sounds” folders to take your music, audio recordings, and other ringtones you want to keep. If you are transferring your data from a Mac computer to your Android smartphone, you will need to download software like Android File Transfer. VIA THE CLOUD Install a “Cloud” application on all your devices: your old and new smartphone as well as your computer. The advantage of having your data synchronized in the “cloud” is to be able to back them up on all your devices, regardless of their operating system. There are many solutions such as DropBox, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. The iCloud solution developed by Apple can also be installed on PC but you will only be able to synchronize contacts, calendars, reminders, and emails. For the rest, you will need to download one or more specific applications from the Play Store, free or paid. Upload your photos and videos to the application installed on one of your devices, and all the others will synchronize automatically! FOR PHOTOS & VIDEOS: GOOGLE PHOTOS This application is particularly easy to use. You will be able to find all your images and videos on all your devices, including on your computer via the website. Download it from your PlayStore if it is not already natively installed on your phone. When opening the application for the first time, it will ask if you want to “backup and sync” your files. Click “Ok” and you’re done. All your files are now backed up and synchronized across your devices.
