For example, when making our CORE-T4 tablet more resistant, we called on our community of testers to determine the ideal drop height at which we should test it. And believe us, it's high. We then sought the perfect compromise between thickness (only 14mm), weight, and battery life to ensure resistance to a 1.5-meter drop test, which corresponds to standing use.
A commitment that extends to the design of our packaging
The packaging is mainly made from eco-designed materials. Most plastic packaging has been removed and the remaining packaging has been compacted as much as possible to reduce its volume by 25%. By reducing the overall size of our inventory and product delivery processes, we are also reducing our carbon footprint and limiting the environmental impact of our products. All these things we are doing less of are a plus for the planet.
But lasting also means repairing
Yes, we consider the repairability of our devices to be one of the keys to extending the use of our products and thus enhancing their sustainability.
To achieve this, our teams worked on a design aimed at simplifying the disassembly of our devices, notably by reducing the use of glue in favor of fasteners using straps or screws. This special attention has enabled us to achieve one of the best repair ratings on the market.
