MAINTAIN A LOAD BETWEEN 20% AND 80%.
It 's good practice to keep your phone within a 20-80% charge range at all times, in order to preserve the battery. In fact, leaving your smartphone on charge beyond 100%, or letting it discharge all the way, can cause the battery to overheat.
The first thing to do is to display your battery percentage. To do this, go to Settings > Battery > And activate "Battery percentage".
It's better to charge your smartphone once in a while than to leave it charging all night long. This will not only save your battery, but also your electricity bill!
However, experts recommend that you perform a full recharge cycle once a month, i.e. go from 0 to 100% charge, to recalibrate your battery.
USE AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS MANAGEMENT
Even if it's more comfortable to have a bright screen, it's not always essential to push the lighting to the maximum.
With automatic brightness adjustment, your display adapts to the ambient lighting to ensure optimal viewing.
Optimizing screen brightness reduces energy consumption and protects the battery.
To activate this mode, go to Settings > Screen > And activate "Adaptive Brightness" mode.

ACTIVATE BATTERY SAVER
The battery saver mode, as its name suggests, is also an excellent way of saving and therefore preserving your battery.
You can activate it directly from your shortcut menu (by slidding down) or in: Settings - Battery - Battery saver.
Once activated, this mode activates the dark theme (less energy-consuming) and disables or restricts background activities, certain visual effects and other features such as "Ok Google".
For better management, you can also activate it automatically when your charge reaches 20%. To do this, go to Settings > Battery > Battery saver > Set program > Set the percentage at which you want this mode to activate.
Background applications can also drain your battery even when you're not using them. By activating the "Battery Manager", your smartphone can send you notifications suggesting that you close the most energy-hungry applications.
CLOSE BACKGROUND APPLICATIONS
As mentioned earlier, even when you're not using an application, if it's left open in the background, it will consume battery power. Once you've finished using an application, remember to close it.
Nothing could be simpler:
- If you're a gesture navigator: swipe up and close the applications of your choice by swiping them upwards, or click directly on "Delete all".
- If you're in three-button navigation mode: click on the square at the bottom right of your screen and close the applications of your choice by swiping them upwards, or click directly on "Delete all".
TURN OFF YOUR SMARTPHONE AT NIGHT OR USE AIRPLANE MODE
Even when you're not using your smartphone, it's still working (searching the network, receiving notifications, SMS, e-mail, etc.). Adopt the right reflexes by switching off your smartphone at night, or by activating airplane mode. This mode will cut off all network connections and any activity not related to the use of your smartphone.
