Crosscall awarded EcoVadis Gold Medal for its CSR performance

EcoVadis, a globally recognized Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating agency, has awarded Crosscall a gold medal, ranking the company among the top 5% of companies performing best in this area.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN CROSSCALL CSR PERFORMANCE

Every year, Crosscall has its CSR performance assessed by EcoVadis, an independent third party that evaluates the performance of more than 125,000 companies of all sizes in 175 countries according to four criteria: Environment, Social, Ethics, and Responsible Procurement.

The latest assessment conducted by EcoVadis in late 2023 highlighted Crosscall’s continued progress and the ongoing improvement efforts made over the years. Crosscall’s CSR performance has earned the company a Gold Medal and a place among thetop 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis, across all sectors.

STELLAR-X5  AN ECO-DESIGN APPROACH THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Among the initiatives that have helped Crosscall make progress this year, many achievements are linked to Crosscall’s commitment to offering sustainable solutions. The work done on the design of the STELLAR-X5, Crosscall’s latest smartphone, demonstrates the company’s determination to go even further. Backed by a 5-year warranty, it is made from 26% recycled materials that have proven their durability by successfully passing the tests the company conducts on all its products. Furthermore, the STELLAR-X5 is sold without a charger or earbuds, which reduces production and minimizes the size of its packaging, made entirely from recycled cardboard.

A DAILY COMMITMENT FROM ALL TEAMS

Crosscall's efforts to improve its CSR performance are not limited to product design. In fact, all of the company's teams and departments work toward this goal every day.

  • Our teams are working to develop our range of refurbished products to give your smartphones a second life.

  • Employees are trained and made aware of corporate responsibility issues such as ethics, responsible purchasing, and non-discriminatory recruitment.

  • Numerous measures are being implemented to continue creating a safe and fulfilling environment for our teams.

The feedback provided by EcoVadis during this assessment will help us identify and prioritize areas for improvement that will enable us to continue making progress in the years to come.
