CROSSCALL is a story of 100% French entrepreneurship born in 2009. Its founder, Cyril Vidal, drew inspiration from his personal experience and professional background to understand usage needs before addressing them by designing innovative products. This was a success because a French brand of smartphones finally met users' expectations. Moreover, professionals and athletes immediately identified with the brand's values.
In addition to offering products designed in France like CROSSCALL’s very first innovation, the SHARK, the brand stood out from the start with a local after-sales service provided by teams based in France.
Today, eager to meet new usage needs, CROSSCALL supports various audiences, both individuals and professionals. It has even become an expert for security and defense professions such as police officers, firefighters, military personnel… leveraging its knowledge of these sectors with demanding requirements.
While maintaining a 100% French capital, our Aix-en-Provence-based brand has established itself as a flagship of European technology. It was selected for the third time in four years to join the French Tech 120 program. Despite experiencing rapid growth, it has always evolved by promoting local roots, notably by concentrating its design center at its headquarters in Aix-en-Provence.

In 2020, we launched the X-LAB there with support from the government through the France Relance Plan. We conduct more than 80 tests that challenge our mobiles, ensuring their compliance with regulations as well as with our standards, which go far beyond the norms.
At the same time, the product creation process has, since the beginning, been carried out with the help of users. We work closely with a panel of 4,587 French people with diverse profiles: our “community of innovators.” Preliminary surveys before design, followed by their feedback on our prototypes, allow us to respond precisely and realistically to multiple uses.
