CROSSCALL was lucky enough to welcome a team of journalists from TF1 to its Aix en Provence headquarters, a report broadcast on Saturday May 4, 2019, in the 8pm news.

This report, entitled "INNOVATION - THE ALL-TERRAIN PHONE", looks at the reasons behind the success of the world leader in outdoor mobile technology, and how a French company specializing in waterproof, hard-wearing cell phones managed to develop the first smartphone to incorporate an action cam.

 

A worldwide innovation that now enables the company to appeal to a much wider audience, with terminals designed to withstand the most extreme conditions, offering at the same time great ease of use and new video-capturing capabilities to all lovers of leisure and outdoor experiences, like our CROSSCALL ambassador and adventurer-explorer Mike Horn.

The project is an ambitious one. Crosscall, the French specialist in ultra-resistant, waterproof smartphones and tablets, and Aurélien Ducroz, two-time world freeride ski champion and sailor, are building a Class40 prototype that will take the start of the Route du Rhum in 2022.
