Right- or left-handed, you simply need to define the shortcuts that work for you. The design of the CORE-T5 includes two programmable buttons that are compatible with Push To Talk (PTT) and Lone Worker Protection (LWP) apps, as well as all tablet features (torch, camera, …).

The positioning and recognition of the programmable buttons have been carefully developed to make sure you avoid accidental touches and retain quick and easy access to your shortcuts, using a different texture and sizing compared to the other buttons.

Your tablet can be used as an on-board instrument thanks to its resistance to chlorinated, fresh and salt water and even sand and microparticles, including snow. Just as durable as the CORE-T5, the programmable buttons retain their waterproofing even after 400,000 presses, which is equivalent to 200 presses per day over five years. The CORE-T5's IP68 certification means it can withstand water immersion up to two metres in depth for 30 minutes.

The CORE-T5 features 1.1mm-thick scratch-proof and impact-resistant Corning Gorilla® Glass 3, and has been meticulously designed to further protect the screen. This practical tablet can be used with gloves or even wet fingertips thanks to the GLOVE and WET TOUCH features.

When you don't have to worry about dropping your device, it changes everything. As part of its development process, the CORE-T5 was subjected to (and withstood) drop testing on all six of the tablet's sides from a height of 1.5 metres and directly onto a concrete slab, the most punishing material.
