Crosscall récompensée par une médaille d'Or EcoVadis pour sa performance RSE

Crosscall awarded a Gold EcoVadis medal for its CSR performance

EcoVadis, a globally recognized Corporate Social Responsibility rating organization, awarded Crosscall a gold medal, ranking the company among their TOP 5% of the highest-performing companies in this field. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF CROSSCALL’S CSR PERFORMANCE Each year, Crosscall has its CSR performance evaluated by EcoVadis, an independent third party that assesses the performance of over 125,000 companies of all sizes in 175 countries based on 4 criteria: Environment, Social, Ethics, and Responsible Purchasing. The latest assessment conducted at the end of 2023 by EcoVadis highlighted Crosscall’s new progress and the continuous improvement work carried out over the years. Crosscall’s CSR performance now earns it a gold medal and a ranking among the top 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis, across all sectors. STELLAR-X5: AN ECO-DESIGN APPROACH THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE Among the initiatives that have allowed Crosscall to progress this year, many achievements are linked to Crosscall’s commitment to offering sustainable solutions. The work done on the design of the STELLAR-X5, Crosscall’s latest smartphone, demonstrates the desire to go even further. Guaranteed for 5 years, it is made of 26% recycled materials that have proven their durability by successfully passing the tests the company conducts on all its products. Additionally, the STELLAR-X5 is sold without a charger or earphones, which helps reduce production and shrink the size of its packaging made entirely from recycled cardboard. A DAILY COMMITMENT FROM ALL TEAMS The actions taken by Crosscall to improve its CSR performance are not limited to product design. Indeed, all the teams and departments of the company make daily efforts in this direction. Our teams are working to develop the range of refurbished products to give your smartphones a second life. Employees are trained and made aware of corporate responsibility topics such as ethics, responsible purchasing, and non-discriminatory recruitment. Many initiatives are being implemented to continue creating a safe and fulfilling environment for our teams. The feedback provided by EcoVadis during this assessment will help determine and prioritize the areas of work that will allow us to continue progressing in the years to come. Crosscall lance core-z5, le smartphone aussi performant que durable

Crosscall launches core-z5, the smartphone as powerful as it is durable

Crosscall, the French manufacturer of ultra-rugged, waterproof, and durable smartphones and tablets, unveils CORE-Z5, its first 5G smartphone. Crosscall has never reached such power: its Qualcomm QCM6490 processor and compatibility with the latest generation networks (5G, WiFi 6/6E) combine to offer optimal service quality in all circumstances. Displaying reliability, durability, and robustness beyond compare, the CORE-Z5 adapts to the most demanding conditions. The first 5G smartphone on the market with a full 5-year warranty, the CORE-Z5 positions itself as a long-term investment for the user. CORE-Z5: THE MOST POWERFUL CROSSCALL SMARTPHONE With the CORE-Z5, Crosscall adds to its smartphone range its most powerful model without compromising the DNA that made the brand successful. The CORE-Z5 is thus the first 5G smartphone on the market with a full 5-year warranty. Its Qualcomm® QCM6490 processor was chosen by our engineers for its performance and the benefits linked to the “Extended Life” program it is part of: operating system updates are ensured as well as security updates. Certified AER (Android Enterprise Recommended), the CORE-Z5 integrates all the security and update requirements related to this certification as well as simplified deployment and management of mobile fleets in companies. The CORE-Z5 is ultra-rugged: it meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard, including repeated mechanical stress tests in extreme climatic conditions (-25° to +60°) as well as drops from 2 meters onto hard surfaces and resistance to various liquids (chlorinated water, engine oil, corrosive products…). Crosscall engineers paid special attention to battery life and longevity, which are the most important criteria for users when choosing their smartphone. The CORE-Z5’s battery offers a large capacity (4,950mAh) which, combined with low-power components, provides you with 44 hours of talk time. The CORE-Z5 benefits from fast charging with only 42 minutes needed to charge to 50%, as well as reverse charging: you can thus use the CORE-Z5 as a portable battery to recharge a colleague’s or friend’s phone, or even another device such as headphones or a flashlight using the dual USB-C cable included in its eco-designed packaging. As for the battery lifespan, it is 800 charge cycles allowing you to rely on a device whose battery life will be an asset every day but also for several years. Crosscall thus hopes to slow down the frequency of mobile phone replacement, an essential goal in its commitment to more responsible and sustainable telephony to meet current environmental and economic challenges. With a 5-year warranty and a repairability score of 9.1/10, the CORE-Z5 positions itself as a long-term investment for all those seeking performance in a smartphone designed to last longer and be more repairable. A TRUE MOBILE OFFICE Security, industry, or construction professions: there are countless sectors accelerating their digitalization. Today, the smartphone must perform the most diverse tasks to become one with the user. That is why the CORE-Z5 concentrates a maximum of features dedicated to professionals while adapting to demanding environments. The CORE-Z5’s ergonomics have been specially studied by our designers: its 6.08’’ HD screen with a 19:9 ratio combines optimal reading comfort and easy handling. Thus, it is perfectly suited for viewing maps or 3D plans, filling out forms, or entering health reports, even with gloves thanks to Glove Touch technology. Its 48-megapixel camera with Fusion4 technology and 4K video camera offer optimal image quality even in low light. To enable all professionals to work in all circumstances, Crosscall teams have integrated an innovative feature: a solution to replace the computer with the smartphone offering a unique experience in terms of mobility and productivity to all professionals who alternate daily between field and administrative tasks. Thanks to this, you will enjoy a dedicated interface similar to that on a computer (multi-windows, launch bar…), by connecting the CORE-Z5 directly to a simple screen*. Thus, the CORE-Z5 transforms into a computer and becomes the work tool that centralizes data for all professionals. This solution also opens up the possibility for all users, depending on their use, to limit their personal equipment to a single device. *This solution, available during the first quarter of 2023, will be deployed via an update on all CORE-Z5 smartphones, including those already in circulation. OPTIMIZED FOR CRITICAL COMMUNICATION The CORE-Z5 benefits from all CROSSCALL expertise in group communication. It also meets all the necessary criteria to establish itself as the essential tool for critical missions, replacing older portable tools. Compatible with Push-to-Talk and equipped with four programmable buttons, the CORE-Z5 transforms into a 2.0 walkie-talkie allowing communication and sharing of content previously inaccessible by this type of technology (photos, videos, geolocation…), simultaneously with several people, without distance limits; a need increasingly present in companies, especially for field professionals. To ensure optimal communication even in noisy environments, Crosscall engineers chose a 2W speaker with 100 dB, three times more powerful than average. Also note the precision of its GPS which reaches 3 meters, whereas GPS in market smartphones generally offer 10 meters accuracy. The CORE-Z5 is also compatible with high-speed 4G and 5G PMR (Private Mobile Radio), a feature particularly sought after by companies across all sectors. It allows access to private or public networks, thus guaranteeing the security of exchanged data as well as communications in all circumstances thanks to the prioritization and preemption mechanism of flows. Professionals can thus communicate without network loss between multiple remote sites to carry out critical interventions requiring close cooperation. To meet the needs of different professions, the CORE-Z5 covers many private network bands: n28, n38, n40, n77, n78 in 5G and bands 28, 38, 40, and 68 on the 4G network. The CORE-Z5 is thus the first smartphone in the world compatible with band 68 (700 MHz) which, in most European Union countries, belongs to state organizations and is dedicated to public safety. In France, this frequency band belongs to the Ministry of the Interior and allows law enforcement to enjoy private and secure communication during interventions. This compatibility thus represents a real strength for Crosscall, which already equips all the Gendarmerie and National Police forces and has made group communication its major development focus.

Championnat du monde class40 crosscall sacré champion

Class40 Crosscall World Championship Crowned Champion

One year after its launch, the Class40 Crosscall won the World Championship in its category this weekend in La Rochelle. A title that validates the full potential of this prototype combining innovation and durability, as well as that of its skipper with an atypical profile. After his two freeride ski world titles, Aurélien Ducroz adds a new world title to his record, demonstrating once again his thirst for victory and his ability to lead ambitious projects. Aurélien Ducroz: "I have experienced two World Championship titles in skiing, this is the first in sailing, it’s extraordinary! We sailed well during the first three days of the championship with three great races always in the leading group. It was largely decided by maneuvers, and we were quite good at that. Of course, we are frustrated not to have done more, but now we can only be happy with the result! Racing as a crew reminded me of the Tour de France à la Voile that I did in Diam24 three years in a row… You regain reflexes even though it’s a bit physical on these boats, but it was very enjoyable. The collaboration with Vincent Riou was simply extraordinary. Sailing with someone who has so much experience is a real privilege and a true pleasure. Also, I thank him enormously as well as everyone else who was on board, David Sineau, Eric Levet, Thomas Audren, not forgetting my boat captain Jonathan Chodkiewiez with whom I am very happy to have shared this moment. I am super proud to bring this World Championship title to this great project that we have been building since last year with my partners from the Crosscall Sailing Team, Crosscall at the forefront, who was the first to trust me in the project of building our prototype." CLASS40 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PODIUM 1. CROSSCALL (166) – Aurélien DUCROZ 2. INTER INVEST (175) – Matthieu PERRAUT 3. REDMAN (161) – Antoine CARPENTIER UPCOMING RACES July 17: start of the Drheam Cup, solo race, in Cherbourg. November 6: start of the Route du Rhum destination Guadeloupe.

Photos, vidéos, contacts : transférez toutes vos données sur votre ordinateur

Photos, videos, contacts: transfer all your data to your computer

There are a few simple methods to transfer all your personal data from your old device to your new CROSSCALL smartphone (music, videos, photos, ringtones, downloads…). Follow the guide! VIA USB CABLE Certainly the simplest method. Connect your device to the computer via your USB cable, your X-DOCK station, or X-CABLE if your smartphone is equipped with X-LINK™ technology. Don’t forget to select the “Transfer files (MTP)” option from the list that appears. Transfer your data either to your computer or to your SD card and find them again by following these simple steps: Retrieve the contacts file (in .vcf format) previously saved, which should be located at the root of your phone. Back up the “DCIM”, “Pictures”, and “Video” folders for your photos, videos, and screenshots. If you own a TREKKER-X4, the access path will differ depending on whether you captured your videos with the Camera App or with the X-CAM App and your Action Cam. Here it is: DCIM>Camera, for photos and videos captured with the Camera App. DCIM > Xcamera > Video > EXPORTED VIDEOS, for videos exported from the X-CAM App on your TREKKER-X4. 3. Copy your “Download” folder which may contain downloaded and/or transferred files (always check). 4. Check the “media”, “Ringtones”, and “Sounds” folders to take your music, audio recordings, and other ringtones you want to keep. If you are transferring your data from a Mac computer to your Android smartphone, you will need to download software like Android File Transfer. VIA THE CLOUD Install a “Cloud” application on all your devices: your old and new smartphone as well as your computer. The advantage of having your data synchronized in the “cloud” is to be able to back them up on all your devices, regardless of their operating system. There are many solutions such as DropBox, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. The iCloud solution developed by Apple can also be installed on PC but you will only be able to synchronize contacts, calendars, reminders, and emails. For the rest, you will need to download one or more specific applications from the Play Store, free or paid. Upload your photos and videos to the application installed on one of your devices, and all the others will synchronize automatically! FOR PHOTOS & VIDEOS: GOOGLE PHOTOS This application is particularly easy to use. You will be able to find all your images and videos on all your devices, including on your computer via the website. Download it from your PlayStore if it is not already natively installed on your phone. When opening the application for the first time, it will ask if you want to “backup and sync” your files. Click “Ok” and you’re done. All your files are now backed up and synchronized across your devices.
