Important notes regarding the use of the
phone CROSSCALL phones CROSSCALL designed and manufactured to high quality standards that exceed the market average. They are IP68-certified (and MIL-STD 810H military-certified for the CORE-Z5) to withstand extreme weather conditions and use in environments where a standard phone could never be used; however, any inappropriate or negligent use of the phone that could lead to spontaneous damage is strongly discouraged.
Use with water, liquids, and dust (IP68 certification)
The IP68 waterproof certification for all liquids, not just fresh and salt water, is valid provided that the connector caps (USB and earphone) are tightly closed.
Improper use of the phone, including numerous drops or rough handling, could cause micro-cracks or loosening of membranes, which could compromise the IP68 waterproof certification and result in oxidation of internal components. Such damage will be handled by technical support outside of the warranty.
After using the phone in water or various liquids, be sure to dry or remove water from the microphones and speaker as well, otherwise for a few minutes or up to a few hours, the audio volume may seem very low, unclear, or you may even hear crackling coming from the speaker. In this case, it is not necessary to send it for technical assistance. Simply shake the phone or dry it with a cloth and warm air to remove any remaining water.
The IP68 certification is valid for any type of dust, but it should be noted that in certain specific environments, large quantities of metallic dust that have accumulated magnetically on the speakers can only be removed by technical support.
