This is how we change our ecosystem
Creating the conditions necessary for change in our industry by collaborating with the actors in our ecosystem.
A collective
commitment
Our ambition is to develop a more sustainable telephony industry. Working to design products that last over time, and ensuring that our social impacts are monitored, requires a collective commitment.
We want to embark our entire ecosystem (including partners, suppliers, and users) in this project in order to transform our production and consumption practices, and (why not?!) maybe even inspire our competitors
Our actions
Qualification audits
Through on-site audits, Crosscall checks our suppliers' compliance with our requirements in terms of working conditions, respect of Human Rights, environmental performance, and business ethics.
This year we carried out on-site audits covering of 87% of our key direct tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers.
Encouraging positive changes in consumer habits
Crosscall launched multiple initiatives for its customers to encourage more responsible consumer habits.
- For individuals: Organisation of a Repair Week. During this week, Crosscall covered the costs of all device repairs for which the warranty had already expired.
- For professionals: Proactively offering less emissive transport options to our customers – such as bulk packaging and maritime transport for products - allowed us to both cut down on the raw materials used in packaging and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with transport by plane.
THAT'S NOT ALL!
This year*, we aim to:
Train staff on responsible purchasing practices
Deploy marketing initiatives that incite users to prolong the life span of our products
Make trade-in offers systematic in B2B contracts
