This is how we make
durable products and services

Designing products and services while taking into account their impacts throughout their whole life cycle - and continuously seeking to extend their useful life.

designing
more
responsible products

Our company's main environmental impacts are generated by our products themselves. Reducing their impact - from design to end-of-life - is therefore the most powerful lever for improving our company's overall impact.

To achieve this, we design robust products that are durable both from hardware and software point of view, and which are easy to repair by a professional and recycle at the end of their life. We involve our users in the design process to ensure our products meet their real needs over time.

Finally, we view ecodesign as a process of continuous improvement. We are always looking for new areas to explore while measuring the effects of our design choices on our products’ environmental impact.

Our actions

carried out during the 2025 fiscal year*

Ecodesign: a continuous improvement approach

The successful integration of recycled materials on the STELLAR-X5 in 2024 has served as an example for the next model. The STELLAR-M6, incorporates 23% recycled materials while maintaining Crosscall's signature standards of durability and resistance.

Other advances in ecodesign illustrate the logic of continuous improvement in our approach. For example, the choice of components to increase the number of OS provided, up to 4 system updates for the STELLAR-M6.

Systematic Life Cycle Assessments

The life cycle analysis of the STELLAR-X5 model, which was conducted in 2024, helped us visualize the effects of our ecodesign efforts. Therefore, we decided to systematically carry out LCAs for all our new catalog products.

The results are also used to enrich our ecodesign roadmap and to prioritise our next areas of research.

AND THERE'S MORE TO COME!

Projects for fiscal year 2026* :

Study the possibility of developing a predictive maintenance service offering.

Investigate alternative battery chemistries that have a reduced environmental impact compared to conventional solutions that rely on virgin cobalt.

Explore upcycing possibilities for parts from phones that cannot be refurbished.

*Our CSR objectives are set based on Crosscall’s fiscal years. Example: the 2025 fiscal year runs from April1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.
