Orange Business and Crosscall win LEROY MERLIN tender to equip and connect its 30,000 employees over 5 years

With Orange Business and Crosscall, Leroy Merlin will continue its digital and sustainable transformation, bringing ever more efficient and personalized service to its customers. Thanks to the operator's high quality of service and the French manufacturer's innovative "all-in-one" approach, Orange Business and Crosscall will equip and connect all Leroy Merlin employees for an unprecedented 5 years. More than 30,000 rugged, long-lasting handsets will be used by the various trades of the French market leader in home improvement.

One of France's favorite retailers equipped by a 100% French duo

The technical sophistication and durability of the terminals, combined with the Orange Leasing mobile fleet leasing service, whose logic is based on the circular economy, enabled Orange Business and Crosscall to distinguish themselves and win the tender launched by Leroy Merlin for the renewal of its mobile fleet. More than 30,000 terminals will equip all employees of one of France's favorite retail chains (Palmarès Marketing and EY-Parthenon 2023), in their various professions: sales, store customer service, logistics, security, administrative services and management committees.

Orange Business and Crosscall's success in winning one of the largest telephony tenders in France in 2023 demonstrates their ability to meet Leroy Merlin's requirements and the specific needs of its various employees. This is one of the largest B-to-B contracts won by the manufacturer, and the first of this scale in the retail sector.

More than 29,000 STELLAR-X5, the latest smartphone launched by Crosscall, will equip all Leroy Merlin employees. 3,000 CORE-X5 smartphones will form a shared mobile fleet for additional needs. 

Crosscall's ecosystem of accessories, a real strength of the French brand, was also acclaimed by Leroy Merlin, which ordered over 700 X-SCAN optical scanner modules to transform smartphones into high-performance barcode scanners in all situations.
