This moment was particularly eagerly awaited by the Crosscall Sailing Team and the many people involved in its construction. It was in Caen that the Crosscall Class40, whose innovative design required many hours of work, was launched. A first for Aurélien Ducroz and his partners, who set themselves an ambitious challenge a few months ago: to build a new Class40 prototype combining performance and reliability, and to win the Route du Rhum 2022 together.

A CARĖNE SPATULĖE FOR OPTIMUM GLIDE
The Crosscall class40 's hull design required many hours of work to achieve maximum power: its hydrodynamic drag and its attitude in the sea were the 3 axes of development and optimization. The result is an original hull whose shape is reminiscent of the long tips of freeride skis, and which will deliver substantial speed gains. The overall aesthetics of the class40's structure are also new: the upper part of the bow is inverted, and is associated with a marked frigate at the front of the boat.
ROCK-SOLID RELIABILITY
While the primary objective is to build the best-performing boat to win the Route du Rhum, the second is deliberately to bring as much common sense as possible to this construction: the boat's structure and all its parts have been designed and built to provide maximum reliability for the Crosscall class40 and enable it to perform over time, whatever the conditions. Environmentally-friendly materials and short supply chains were also favored wherever possible.

A BOAT WITH A SLEEK DESIGN AND ORIGINAL COLORS
With its aggressive design, the class40 Crosscall aims to shake up the aesthetic codes of its category. This effect is underlined by the brand's new Crosscall colors, which were unveiled for the first time today with the launch of the class40 Crosscall. The French company, which has been designing sustainable smartphones and tablets since 2009, has just updated its image to better reflect its positioning and strategic evolution. The Crosscall logo has been split in two to evoke a virtuous circle, while the new tagline "THIS IS HOW WE LIVE" affirms the brand's desire to appeal to users with a different lifestyle.
