CROSSCALL and Neosafe share the same desire to offer products and services that guarantee worker safety.
Based in Aix-en-Provence, France, CROSSCALL is a company that develops products that are waterproof, resistant, long-lasting and guaranteed for 3 years. Attentive to the needs of professionals, and aware of the major issues concerning worker safety, CROSSCALL has ensured that its devices are compatible with the main PTI solutions on the market, such as those offered by Neosafe.
CROSSCALL has therefore equipped the CORE range with two programmable buttons that can be configured for PTI and PTT applications. Their location has been specially designed for intuitive use. What's more, CROSSCALL smartphones are equipped with numerous sensors that can be used specifically for the alert families of a PTI-DATI device. These include a gyroscope to measure loss of verticality, an accelerometer to detect a fall, and GPS for geolocation.
Lafarge Holcim is a Swiss company and world leader in building materials. It employs several thousand people and has between 250 and 280 concrete production sites. The company, already equipped with the Neosafe PTI solution, opted in 2017 for CROSSCALL products. Thanks to the CROSSCALL and Neosafe solution, it can guarantee the safety of its employees, who very often work alone on production sites. After configuring the button press mode on the terminal (long press, 3 successive presses, etc.), the active user simply needs to reproduce this press to make an emergency call and launch an alert in the event of a problem. Combined with the product's integrated gyroscope and acceleration sensor CROSSCALLthe application is able, in the event of an incident, to detect loss of verticality or a sudden fall and send out an SOS. Lafarge Holcim was quickly convinced and intends to continue using this solution, which is perfectly suited to its needs.
