Crosscall, the French manufacturer of ultra-strong, durable smartphones and tablets, has established itself as a French technological flagship, offering solutions that are ever more sovereign and sustainable by nature. Since its creation in 2009, the Aix-en-Provence-based scale-up has enjoyed exponential growth: +86% in the last financial year 2021-22 ended March 31, 2022, representing sales of 134.3 million euros.
A major player in mission-critical communications, Crosscall has confirmed its expertise by winning the contract to equip the French Gendarmerie and Police Nationale, the largest in Europe with 230,000 terminals deployed in the field. The brand now aims to equip institutions in France and abroad.
The only 100% French-owned company in the sector, Crosscall is committed to an industrial relocation project to offer the very first 5G smartphone manufactured in France as early as 2024. This strategic project will be carried out as part of a broad European partnership aimed at acquiring greater digital and industrial sovereignty.
By joining French Tech 120, Crosscall will benefit from close support from all the relevant government bodies to help it pursue its development and ambition to become a new leader in the European cell phone market. The support program will address several strategic issues: recruitment, financing, industrial set-up, international development and regulatory issues.
