protecting minors
Children are being exposed to screens at ever younger ages, with harmful effects on cognitive development, learning and sleep, as well as a role in obesity (work by the Haut Conseil de la Santé Publique,INSERM).
It is therefore advisable to avoid exposing children under the age of three to screens, and to ensure reasonable use for older children.
For older children, especially teenagers, the problem is more one of content and quantity. In particular, easy access to violent or pornographic scenes is a danger.
It's important for parents to control minors' access to social networks (which are forbidden to under-13s). In addition to some inappropriate content, social networks make communication easier, but also facilitate harassment through anonymity.

CROSSCALL has developed a parental control tool that parents can activate when using the device for the first time, or later if they wish. By indicating the minor's age, the device will authorize only the corresponding content, based on the ratings provided by application publishers: https: //pegi.info/fr/page/que-signifient-les-logos
Subsequent activation of this tool scans applications already installed and makes them unavailable according to the age setting chosen.
For added security, CROSSCALL 's parental controls will block access to applications that do not have a PEGI rating. It is also possible to prevent access to browsers on the device. In fact, without going through applications, they allow access to content that parents may wish to restrict.
For detailed instructions on how to use and set up this parental control tool, please refer to your device's user manual, available at https://www.crosscall.com/en_FR/userguides/.
