CORE-X5

Designed for group communication in the field with Push-to-Talk applications, the CORE-X5 incorporates 4 programmable buttons for setting actions such as Push-to-Talk, distress calls or changing conference groups.

These programmable buttons are deliberately designed with an amplified surface (up to 1.5 cm in length) and a hardened pressure of 2N (200g) for excellent ergonomics with gloves.

No more inadvertent presses: buttons are methodically positioned and protected by polycarbonate reinforcements.

Resistant over time, they are capable of withstanding more than 700,000 supports throughout their 5-year warranty, i.e. 400 supports per day for 5 years.

During training, a PGHM officer from Chamonix was able to use the Core-X5 in Antarctica in November 2021, in temperatures down to -20°C. The user appreciated: the product's resistance to the region's extreme cold, the phone's ergonomics when worn with thick gloves, and its long battery life even in these extreme cold conditions.

The CORE-X5 is equipped with custom 0.8 mm Corning © Gorilla Glass, which is 60% thicker than standard screens and therefore much more resistant, while remaining functional even with gloves or wet fingers, thanks to the GLOVE Touch function, which increases screen sensitivity to ensure touch use with thick gloves, and the WET Touch function, which allows you to use the screen with wet fingers.

The CORE-X5 's sustainability has been thought through right down to its packaging. Indeed, the creation of eco-designed packaging is a commitment by the brand and reinforces its CSR approach.
