ESAFEME PRO, THE APPLICATION DEDICATED TO LONE WORKER PROTECTION
Created to improve the safety of lone workers, eSafeMe Pro is an application known as PTI-DATI (Dispositif d'Assistance au Travailleur Isolé), designed and thought out to save lives. In fact, if a worker in the field feels unwell (assault, discomfort, situation endangering him or her...), the application, available on the CORE X5, enables him or her to alert his or her team by sending an SOS rapidly, regardless of the distance from his or her colleagues.
The alert can be generated in several ways:
- In the event of a fall, the alert is based on an algorithm combining the phone's acceleration and rotation.
- For a voluntary alert, the worker can activate an SOS button (ON/OFF) manually.
- If the worker is immobilized for any length of time, the alert is activated according to the immobility time set on the application.
- By pressing the dedicated alert button on Crosscall smartphones.
A SOLUTION APPROVED BY COMPANIES WORLDWIDE
Orange, Oracle, Lafarge, CHS de la Savoie, Eureden and Schindler have already approved the Neosafe solution on Crosscall smartphones.
Lafarge Holcim is a Swiss company and world leader in building materials. It employs several thousand people and has between 250 and 280 concrete production sites. The company, already equipped with the Neosafe PTI solution, opted for CROSSCALL products in 2017. Thanks to the CROSSCALL and Neosafe solution, it can guarantee the safety of its employees, who very often work alone on production sites. After configuring the button press mode on the terminal (long press, 3 successive presses, etc.), the active user simply needs to reproduce this press to make an emergency call and launch an alert in the event of a problem. Combined with the product's built-in gyroscope and acceleration sensor CROSSCALLproduct, the application is able to detect loss of verticality or a sudden fall and send out an SOS in the event of an incident.
