READY FOR THE OPEN SEA

   - November 6, 2020

For their first participation in the Vendée Globe, the TREKKER-X4 and the CORE-T4 have chosen two renowned skippers Jérémie Beyou and Alan Roura to accompany them. Together, anchored to the navigation station of their boats, they are about to experience one of the world's greatest round-the-world sailing races.

WITH JÉRÉMIE BEYOU FROM CHARAL SAILING TEAM

For its first participation in the Vendée Globe, the TREKKER-X4 has chosen to accompany a sailing legend and one of the race favorites: Jérémie Beyou of the Charal Sailing Team. Together, they're aiming for victory.

During this race, Jérémie will be able to count on the TREKKER-X4 to keep track of winds, waves and currents, thanks to the Windy weather application. It will also be his best friend, enabling him to give out news and keep in touch with land. Thanks to the X-PLAY Bluetooth headset, he'll be able to do his shifts while remaining free to move should he suddenly have to tack. Finally, with the X-STICK pole, he can attach his phone to the rail to keep an eye on it while maneuvering his boat. The TREKKER-X4 and its ultra-wide-angle lens will also be useful for capturing images of this incredible round-the-world adventure.

WITH ALAN ROURA OF THE FABRIQUE SAILING TEAM

Another inseparable duo has also decided to take part in this legendary race alongside Alan Roura, skipper of IMOCA La Fabrique: the CORE-T4 tablet and TREKKER-X4 smartphone. Between them, they hope to complete this round-the-world race in 80 days. To do so, each will have to play its part to perfection: the CORE-T4 will be in charge of visios, giving Alan visibility over his navigation plans, while the TREKKER-X4 will be the on-board telephone, providing the link between Alan and the mainland. It will also enable the team to share images and videos of their race. Finally, Alan will have to stay on course and assert his role as captain throughout the race to achieve the objectives set.
